Post Ramadan BE Brunchathon

Ladies and Gentlefolk.

Get your babies a baby sitter
Give your wife/partner your credit card and tell them to shop
Give your teenagers a bottle of vodka, a member of the opposite sex and the number for an ambulance
Get your holidays moved
Get your days off booked
Book a hotel (if travelling)
Get your money saved
Tell the cleaner to come later the day after
Get your other commitments cancelled...

....because we're going on a brunch / night out and attendance is compulsory.

I've been kindly nominated to try and get this ball rolling and in an act of blind faith I'm expecting great things from you lot.

Dates after Ramdamadingdong;

Thursday 1st September
Friday 2nd September
Thursday 15th September
Friday 16th September

(I can't do the 8/9 so veto those dates)

I expect the 1st and 2nd to be quite busy, especially if a brunch is voted for, but that shouldn't put anyone off. Busy or not, the beer will be cold, wine will be on ice and the food slightly better than average.

So, I'm asking for you unpredictable, uncommitted, uniterested in anything i try to organise bunch of internet weirdos to step forward and be counted.

Make a commitment, stick to it, Get a beer in and have a good time.

Your job now; Reply with your preferred date and whether brunch or just drinks out somewhere. Please also supply a suggestion for where we should drink (knowing full well that whatever happens we are going to Waxy's.)

Fill your boots.

Scamp

If I knew how to make a poll work I'd use one.... otherwise I'm gonna get a spreadsheet going and geek it up.

Pick a date mate, we're going to make it happen.

I will be arriving on 23th August, so any of the dates are fine. The 1st September would be my first choice, followed by the 2nd, as it will be the end of my first week in my new job:thumbup:

Depending on when Ramadan starts it is possible that 1st September could be a dry day.

15th-16th is fine for me - I'll just rearrange Miss Kitty's birthday so that I don't have to make her cake whilst drunk and deal with an inordinate number of hyperactive pre-schoolers whilst hung-over... although hair of the dog might help! lol

Gosh, I love being a good role model!

15/16 for me, depending on getting a babysitter of course.

Think just drinks might be a good option. I've never been to Waxy's and judging by Patsy's response, I'm not sure that I want to! :p

Don't worry, we'll look after you. We'll make it clear you're a guest not an "employee".:D
