Poll - Best Sporting Commentator Ever?
After reading Bangleman's posting re the sad death of Reg Gutteridge, I thought - well, who do we consider to be the best sporting commentator ever?
These are the ones I thought of, off the top of my head and have tried to cover most sports I used to watch on the telly back home.

erm Sid Widdell is great, I used to love Bill McLaren watching the Rugby, Eddie Butler is probably the nearest equivilant these days and wheres Tony Gubba!!?!

I think 'Whispering' Ted Lowe (snooker) deserves a gig on this poll too. And Peter Alliss (golf). And Richie Benaud of course.

A poll can only go to 15 options, if I try to include all the latest additions, we will exceed the max no of options!
Perhaps I should just delete it.
Or have a poll of polls and do one sport at a time and then put the winner from each category into the 'final'.

Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes on Sky are outstanding.
And I'm voting for Barry Davies, who always told it how it was..... it was like listening to a (knowledgeable) mate in the pub.
