Plans for the weekend?

Plans for the weekend?
Or the One Day Off us Koreans have? What are we up to?
I'm not able to partake in alcohol-fuelled shenanigans this weekend as I'm on antibiotics. I'm not going to bother coming to Dubai as I was hoping to do, so will take the opportunity to get some sleep tonight and tomorrow morning and help my body get over the infection.
But tomorrow afternoon...the world is my oyster...well, AD is. What is there to do? I want somewhere I can go and stay for a few hours. I may well end up in a shopping mall, mooching round the coffee shops for free wi-fi access and eating as much Western food as I can. I hear there's a nice brunch at Coopers or something at the Park Rotana just over the bridge, but if I'm not drinking, is there much point?

There's a cafe virtually on the beach, opposite the end of 32nd street (I think--anyway, opposite the VW showroom) where the small piazza on the Corniche is, where you can sit and have reasonably-priced food, in the shade, and watch the world go by. And the girls in bikinis, which I think is what you're really after.
