Phuket in July

I know it's going to be rainy (kind of looking forward to it), but is it a predictable couple of hours of lashing rain everyday with the rest of the day OK, or is it a constant barrage of rain all day every day?
Thanks,
CH

We went to Koh Samui a couple of years ago in July and it was just an hour in the afternoon about 3ish

just an hour or so each day unless you get unlucky and a big storm rolls in, can last all day then.
To be honest its ace after the weather beating we take here in july some rain is really pleasant

Agreed. Late afternoon - 3/4pm for about an hour. Can be very heavy.

Smells lovely afterwards!!
