I never thought I'd ever see the word "panic" associated with the Daily Express.

Nothing like a bit of panic to get the juices flowing in Middle England.

People who read that paper like using and a lot and go on about the PC Brigade.

I just loved this quote from one motorist: “When I heard Gordon Brown was telling people not to panic I thought I’d better.”

People who read 7 Days use the and too much and like walking around with parsnips in their ears.

And that was possibly the worst thing GB coulda said.

I'm in the UK at the moment and there is certainly no panic, the local Sainsburys is operating as normal. The media must be very short on stories this week. Shell only own 10% of petrol stations in the UK so no big deal.
