Personal “Toys”
Not trolling but visiting Dubai this week. Flying from LHR.
Visiting with my wife and we thought about bringing a personal toy.
I know this is officially banned but in RL would it be picked up and enforced coming in to Dubai?
Not the end of the world if it’s a huge problem at customs we won’t bother.
Just interested in if people have known of issues.
Cheers

and in real life, people bring them in all the time - apparently, it is better to have it in your hand luggage and put it in your pocket (jacket, not the velvet lined one you scoundrel) before you get off the plane.

More information than I needed. I'm sure people do bring them in successfully, and other banned items as well. I'm also sure that one of my sister's friends, who worked in Dubai for 7 years, took one back after a trip to Oz and had a very unpleasant 2 hours in Dubai airport after it was detected in a checked baggage scan.
