Re: Paging Patsy Stoned, please.....
well i wouldn't have a small wedding there, it's one thing having a big party with all the tables outside (i've been for two of the school balls there so know what it's like)...but quite another when you're basically just one table...and i think there are some other fab, and better suited venues...
anyway, bigtaff let us know how you go...!

Crikey! I seemed to have sparked some controversy
I'm definitely leaning more towards the One and Only's venues after looking at the websites but will look with my own eyes also. Website images have the luxury of getting photoshopped before uploading
Reflets looks nice too but I'm worried it will be all show and no go (tiny portions, massive prices).
Keep the suggestions coming please!!

What about Rivington Grill?
Someplace with views of the Burj and waterfountains may be nice, if you have a large private table outdoors.

Very, very good.
Beautiful setting.
But we left not quite 100% full, which was annoying after all the money spent on the meal. One or two more courses (which are miniscule each) would have hit the spot. Altogether no regrets and well worth the visit if you're in the area. Per Se is the NYC version.

Hatta Fort is a bit far out of Dubai for me really but thank you.
EauZone at The one and only looks lovely!! I've mailed them for their menu and pricing now and if favourable I will go there on weekend as well I don't want stuffy and pompous so might sack the Golf club if that's what it's like. I'm a down to Earth guy who just wants a nice day
