Interesting news today that dell and a few others are wacking up prices in the UK this month due to the currency.

Blighty won't be so cheap soon. I don't see the wage growth coming to soften the inflation spike that is coming. Tough timess for people who live month to month with one month of float in the bank (probably about half the UK).

Quite the opposite in my mind.

If inflation is above the 2+ it isn't good news. They cannot stop easing nor put up ratess to prevent more inflation. Rock and hard place.

Big decline in living standards would normally follow.

my point was that for a very long time the Bank have been complaining that inflation is too low. now it starts to move up to the level they want its also a problem

Because they have no weapons to slow it down
negative Bond yields today in UK
pound wants to get to 1.20 against USD
BoE forcasting 0.1 % growth this year and 0.7 for 2017
inflation is not gonna be the problem
