Looks like they are playing Sunday League football next year.............
I can see why other clubs are pissy about it, reinstating them having gone bust would not send out a good message to the clubs that play by the rules.

Re: Oops Rangers
Since they are a "NewCo", the old Rangers is technically over so SPL's rejection is hardly surprising.
What amazes me is how Whyte bought Rangers with none of his money, he just got 24 million pounds from Ticktus promising them future gate receipts. Why didn't Ticketus just skip Whyte the middle man and buy Rangers themselves?
I don't know much about the financial word so wondering how Whyte's scheme isn't fraud.

Re: Oops Rangers
I'm a rangers supporter and have no objections to paying in the 3rd division. Its the correct decision and only right for the SFL to maintain any credibility. Why should Newco Rangers be afforded anything more.
The way the club was run was terrible. Whyte and now Green...oh the irony.
We will bounce back. So those gloating should refrain and check their own house is in order as I don't think that Rangers are the only club to be run so badly.

Re: Oops Rangers
They should be allowed to enter at the lowest level of the football league.
As Commander says - they aren't the only club that have ****ed up so more will fall.
But anyway, it's Scottish football so nobody should really give a shit.

Re: Oops Rangers
I think Scottish football's finished nowadays which is kind of sad as they produced some fantastic players over the years and have also had success in Europe as well .
Used to be great watching them come back from the World Cup before the postcards though....

Re: Oops Rangers
Wonder if they've thought about saying "sod it" and tried to enter at the bottom of the English league instead...
It's not like their team has been that Scottish for quite a long time...

Chelsea FC lost out in their bid to buy Battersea Power station, to a Malaysian consortium who have planning permission to build 3500 homes and office space.
Administrators rejected the Chelsea offer. I'm assuming the Malaysians will knock the chimneys down?? As one DM poster says, it would have been one of the most iconic Football Club stadiums around because Chelsea had planned to incorperate the chimneys into their stadium design.

More like they'll do the same thing but relocate Cardiff City there
