One million dollars? Or attend the birth of your first child?
US golfer Hunter Mahan had a two-shot lead in the Canadian Open Golf Championship on Friday night...... first prize: USD 1,000,000............ then his wife goes into labour, about three weeks early.......... too important to miss, so off he goes.............
So it's a nice 'Hello and welcome' to Zoe Mahan.......... http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/...083458453.html |

If you've already got millions, then fair enough, but if I was giving birth and it was either have my husband there, or have him bring in a million a few days later, I'd take the cash. :)

The birthing room is no place for a man. The money is a reasonable excuse to not be there.
I will never forget being handed mini millhouse - he smelt like mince meat. |

I have witnessed both my kids been born. its a wonderful experience but anyone who wouldn't take a million bucks to miss out on it is wired to the ****ing moon or already minted.
Loads of screaming, blood, smells and a little bundle of joy appears, followed by a tasty looking placenta....what's not to like;) |

Both of my kids were c-sections, and husbands were not allowed in the operating theatre. They would check & clean baby, then hand him to me for a quick kiss, and take him away to Daddy for a cuddle whilst I got sewn up (for no1) or to the (gulp still hard to write) Neonatal ICU to put him on a ventilator (for no2).
