yep, second one had me rushing with him in my arms in an ambulance right after birth to a kiddie ICU in another hospital a bit further away
im man enough to say i teared up
2 days and 2 nights of terror and then utter joy
so true!! on both accounts!
I feel myself being extra protective of him even though he acts like he doesnt give a flying ****
so, based on my experiences....I would rather be there in case something went wrong, you know

There is nothing I wouldn't have given or done when wee man was in nicu.
Not overly protective now but i hate even seeing an nicu on tv, brings back an awful feeling deep down
