Another story for Kittykat. I bet she is glad to be driving from Nairobi rather than flying to the Mara.

I flew from Nairobi to Kisumu on a local tiny airline some years ago. I remember my now wife telling me that the seats were loose (ie not attached to the floor) and me telling her not to worry as it was only a short flight...

The best thing about the flight was the inflight meal which consisted of two boiled sweets, one mango and one pineapple..Lovely :thumbsup:

thanks Mentalist- I can't wait :-) decided not to bother with a decent camera and bought some binoculars instead so I can see some fluffies even if I don't get close (although they are a bit harder to use than I thought they would be!) and if I do get close enough my usual camera will do :-) could have stayed in Essex though for the lion (or big tomcat as its now being called).
