One suggestion is to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque on the way into Abu Dhabi - it's only open in the morning though (8.30 - 11.30).

Then why not just go for coffee and cake? They have delicious gateaux. You could even have a glass of champagne with your cake. Cheaper than lunch, and tbh there are nicer places to eat in Abu Dhabi.

No Champers..... Driving you see, but apart from Emirates Palace there must be more to see

Jeesus, so far the only thing mentioned worth the visit is the mosque. How on earth would anyone want to visit a bloody hotel or a mall, esp when coming from dubai.

Paul, park your motor by the hiltonia club and either take a walk or hire a couple of bikes and head up the corniche to the other end and back. Beautiful.

Don't come to abu dhabi and sit in a friggin hotel or mall, what's the point...

I were winding him up about M+S. I haven't been to AD for about three years so a bit out of the loop.
