Tonight's lineup is Rustey Dooley, Erik Griffin, Sebastian Maniscalo and Tommy Davidson. A guy called Ahmed Ahmed is host. It's a park set behind a building on the opposite side of Beach Road to the Westin. There were traffic guys all the way through Media City and we just stopped and asked them and they directed us - easy to find. Gold tickets are in the third section back, there's a small vip section, then platinum, then gold. There's no allocated seating, we had platinum tickets so just got there pretty early and sat front row of the platinum section. By the way, you have to buy tickets for food and beverage, so don't line up at the bar until you have your voucher for your drink.

We got there at 8.30 - it was supposed to start at 9 (seating started at 7), but people were still coming in at 9.15 and it started about 9.30. So I reckon get there between 8 and 8.30.

Yep, alcohol in plastic cups. Smoking in their seats - which as a reformed smoker was a bit annoying - had to keep sucking on throat lozengers to stop myself coughing.

ahh im still a smoker and love Dubai for its smoking policy....seems like you can just about smoke anywhere!

Great for smokers, not so great for others..

Being outdoors it wasn't too bad.....my clothes didn't stink of smoke so it's okay.

was a great night out Kim, glad i went, drink was bloody expensive though, bottle of water and a vodka with cranberry, 60 dhs.... Daylight robbery!
