Sturgis has a Harley motorcycle rally every year - I think this is the 69th year. Sturgis is in the western part of South Dakota (the state which has Mt. Rushmore - the mountain with the 4 prez heads on it). Personally, I love Sturgis!! Don't ride but the people who come are amazing and a great group of people - some a tad scary looking!! :rofl: Sturgis is a town of about 6000 people but during Sturgis, turns into a town of sometimes over 300,000!! The surrounding areas are one of the most beautiful areas to ride!! |
