... an Englishman that's good at tennis.
It's taken a while.
Only the sixth British man to play in a grand slam semi-final. And now with the chance to be the first British man to win the Australian Open since Fred Perry 84 years ago.
Thank fuuk he's no dour....
PS Yeah I just come here to belittle you, talk tennis and fuuk off again.
PPS I actually think it's brilliant that he's doing great. So shush.

Good for him, nice to see young Brits doing well in sport.
Has he played some good people?
Could he make the final?
I played tennis in Al Ain the other week and was nearly dead at the end.

He's against Cillic in the semifinal which you'd ordinarily think would be a Cillic win, but Edmund is playing the tennis of his life this week - so yes he's got a good chance for sure.

The quarter final was against Dimitrov current rank 3 in world, so yes he is beating top players.

Well there you go. It's an age thing, I guess. Saw NF at Newcastle City Hall years ago, it was great, but never got to see the full band in their pomp.

Just gone back to the earliest page of threads on here. Early 2007. MataHari, Confucius, the original JammyDodgers, my God, what happened to them all? We were going to form a band, Auto, and you'd already done an NME style-review. Oh, the memories...
