We went to Smiling BKK on the weekend, ta for the advice, it was great, took a little bit of finding, but was brilliant, like walking into somebodies living room, then getting served lots of nice food,

yeah cheers, they are dead friendly and food was cheap, the whole meal was about dir 150 and we had a feast, heh,

thanks for the info, think we're gonna try lemongrass soon as well.

Smiling BKK ? Where is it please?, There is a nice brunch buffet in Dowr Palace Hotel near mankhool rd, all you could eat and drink over 4 hrs 111dhs, 75dhs with soft drinks and half price for kids, also buffet meal on a night for 89dhs

Smiling BKK is a very charming little tiny restaurant behind one of the garages in Jumeira 1, it really is like someones front room with a mirror and some mad things on the wall, staff are dead friendly and great food - give it a whirl.
