Is this because of the Queen's visit. There was some twunt on the news banging on how disgraceful that she was turning up on a particular anniversary. He seemed the type to look take umbrage at cheery hello.

Via contacts in London, there was a controlled explosion nr Trafalgar Square early this morning and the Met are on high alert, advising people to avoid the centre of town if possible.

The only solution is to carpet bomb all of Northern Ireland and selected key infrastructure in Southern Ireland - just in case.
