When I opened my blinds this morning, I was presented with them setting up the fairground on the carpark outside Rimal/Amwaj in JBR...

Looks like I can kiss goodbye to sleeping before midnight for the next month.

Actually yes haha got everything sorted eventually and im living in al barsha with the misses, started my job last week, things are looking up thanks :p

shit traffic, shit access, road works, little windows, smelly lifts, smelly takeaways, noisy kids activities, apart from that not so bad :p

I'd disagree with the first half of that, but would then like to add rubbish A/C, poor maintenance, cracks in the walls, shocking detailing and water that runs rust-coloured occasionally.

Sooooooo glad I moved out of Rimal the year before they first did the fairground!

I miss the choice of swimming pools though, that's one thing a big development has going for it. Of course, they were always full of non-JBR residents taking advantage...
