Sad! Great TV presenter! Actually his latest book is being serialised in the Daily Mail this week. Began on Saturday or Sunday I think it was!

He also went into serious depression after suing - and losing - the makers of Spitting Image for their 'unflattering' portrayal of him...........

Re: And now Keith Flloyd

:ohmy:This is great shocker for me.....I am bereft of words....as i think he led the way for some of the pretentious upstarts on tele these days.
He allowed glamour and good food to be accessible coined new words like 'gastronomes' made some of the wines and stews we take for granted popular than the boiled meat and cabbage of days past.

Would love to get a box set....his honesty and authenticity in his sketches are refreshing...they sure dont make them like they used to...

Hope we will meet up over a glass of chablis and fine bouilbasse (forgive my french):drinkwine:

Adieu monsieur!
Vive le chef du monde!

Floyd spent two days with Allen?

That was only because he had heard Allen's daughter likes older men..........

Yes, I saw that! Talk about timing, hey?!

I was quite shocked to see him on that documentary - I mean, I kind of expected to see someone completely ravaged, but he was something else, bless him.
