:ohmy:This is great shocker for me.....I am bereft of words....as i think he led the way for some of the pretentious upstarts on tele these days.
He allowed glamour and good food to be accessible coined new words like 'gastronomes' made some of the wines and stews we take for granted popular than the boiled meat and cabbage of days past. Would love to get a box set....his honesty and authenticity in his sketches are refreshing...they sure dont make them like they used to... Hope we will meet up over a glass of chablis and fine bouilbasse (forgive my french):heart::drinkwine: Adieu monsieur! Vive le chef du monde!:starsmile: |
