Don’t get too excited. When we went through a fortnight or so after it opened they were still finishing it off ... fixing carpets, window seals, electricians everywhere peering into underfloor spaces and overhead voids. It’s certainly smarter than the old terminal (not difficult, I know) but I think there are still teething troubles. For some reason best known to themselves they’ve decided to carpet all the concourses (which is a pain with wheeled cases) and I don’t like to think too hard about what bugs/germs might be breeding underfoot. Oh yes, it’s a ‘quiet’ terminal so there are no flight announcements so keep an eye on the overhead flight boards - our departure gate changed twice after check-in and they don’t (or didn’t) make any announcements to that effect.
