It is pretty clear - this is what it is according to the Khaleej Times

If Eid falls on Fri then the private sector will only get Fri-Sat off.

If it falls on Sat - then Sat and Sun.

There will be no compensatory day off if Eid happens to fall on Fri

But doesn't the UAE labour law say that expats are entitled to two days paid leave? So if we only get Fri-Sat (weekend) off, we should get those two days paid or two extra holidays in lieu. It seems that everywhere in the Gulf except bloody Dubai, they are giving us at least Sun-Mon off...

This is true, they are expecting Eid to commence Saturday, so Oman is on shut down until Wednesday 17th
