http://www.nufcblog.com/2009/07/30/d...ob-even-exist/ ........ and what is more........... Mahjoob also said that one of his goals was to use Iranian players and coaches at Newcastle, and revealed that he has approached the ‘David Beckham of Iranian football', Ali Daei, with regards a coaching role at the club. “Ali Daei is a definite priority for coaching the Newcastle team for the first season,” he said. “Daei is one of my close friends and we have had short conversations together, although we haven’t had serious talks with regards to this. After we purchase the club we will talk with Daei in regards to his presence.” Daei is a former Iranian football player and coach. He is a former captain of the Iran national football team, is the world's all-time leading goalscorer in international matches, and briefly coached the national team in its failed attempt to qualify for the 2010 World Cup. A spokesman for Mahjoob said on Wednesday that he wanted to bring Kevin Keegan back to St James' Park for a third spell as manager. |

Re: Newcastle Utd ownership news
There was a Muslim, a Hindu and a Newcastle fan out for a walk when it started to get late. Realising that they were a long way from home they decided to stay at a nearby inn. Once inside the inn keeper welcomed the three travellers and explained that unfortunately he only had two beds available, however, one of the three was welcome to sleep in the barn on the hay. After some discussions the Muslim tromped out to the barn for the night and the Hindu and the Newcastle fan settled down in their beds.
After five minutes there was a knock at the door and the Muslim came in explaining that their was a pig in the barn and their was no way he could sleep in there. So up gets the Hindu and off he tromps off to the barn and the other two settle down. After five minutes there was a knock at the door and the Hindu came bac in explaining that their was a cow in the barn and their was no way he could stay in there. So after much moaning and saying a man of his stature shouldn't sleep in a barn up gets the Newcastle fan and he then tromps off to the barn and the other two settle down. After five minutes again there was a knock at the door and the Pig and the Cow walked in............. |
