Hi I'm new'ish to the forum, I've replied to a couple of posts so far; I stumbled across it when searching for something.
So, answers to the questions on page one: So where are you from? I'm from Bedfordshire in the UK Got any kids? No Hobbies? Footy, the pub, and the gym to combat the pub :p Whatever else: I've lived in the UAE for 4 years now (I think), lived in Ajman for a year (a mistake), my job involves a lot of travel, office is at DIC. And, I used to quiz at the Millennium Hotel (Biggles Bar) before our company got bought and people left... Mark. |

just keep an eye on the board for any news, cause with this Eid thing coming up it might be cancelled if it's a dry night...nothing was said about it last night but here you never know how things turn out... |

Can't believe i'm now an expat... That doesn't make me a lesser person does it???
Anyway, I'm Danny, and i haven't drank now for 12 hours! From... North of England... Manchester then Lancaster then Leeds Kids...0 (only 22!!) Hobbies... Running (not easy in this country at the moment), Football, Playing guitar, piano, confusing arabs by speaking to them in Arabic... Oh and yes i'm good at pub quizzes! Anything else... Just arrived here 2 weeks ago and need to get meeting people in the same(ish) boat and meet some people with British (really any one will do) accents! |
