New Year's Eve in Dubai - Where to Ring in 2014!
I have visitors coming to celebrate the festive season in Dubai. They will be here over the new year. Where oh where do I look for packages for New Year's Eve/Day brunches and the like? I've googled to no avail. And ... what are your plans for the New Year?

Bit early yet but don't worry there are loads of overpriced evenings.

We are in the UK this year - if not, we would definitely be going back there (assuming they still do the same sort of thing).

Two years ago, we dragged a couple of visitors out to Bab Al Shams for New Year's Eve - it was stunning beyond belief. Amazing food, served on the rooftop under the stars, and - at midnight - a firework display I cannot even begin to describe (I thought I'd seen all fireworks before, but these were unbelievable - things that exploded into mid-air waterfalls (yes, waterfalls) and the like. We are in the UK this year - if not, we would definitely be going back there (assuming they still do the same sort of thing).

I'm having a house party. Balcony looks at the khalifa so fireworks should be on the agenda!
