What book are you writing, Millhouse? I'm intrigued. Fiction or non-fiction?

non-fiction, really to support the teaching gig if I can pull it off.

5. Rotator Cuff injuries and IT Band injuries are holding me back. In fact, does anyone know of a decent physio? I'm losing faith in the American Hospital.

I have had some great treatment at Orthosports by Jumeriah Mosque over the years. Both for a long term back injury and for a rotator cuff last year which they fixed very quickly and gives me zero issues now.

Also, they take insurance.

This year, after taking several deep breaths, I've committed to a) being able to have a proper conversation in Korean, and b) getting down to fighting-fit shape and condition to ride my retirement present to myself (regardless of whether or not retirement happens this year) (photo attached). Both are SMART. The latter may involve no booze till Easter...

Korean: Need to accelerate.
Fighting-fit: Check -- workout almost every day since 23 Dec, diet 95% there, booze down to once a week or less. Target is October.

As in direct billing? I've been in touch with a couple of places who say they don't do it so you have to claim back. I need some work on my lower back.

They did back in the day (Alico). You'd have your initial appointment and from that they would get pre-approval for the required treatment. Give them a call to confirm.

There also used to be a tasty blonde on the front desk. Whats not to like!?!? ;)

Well, sounds good to me... I do have a referral letter already as I went to the doctor in a clinic on the Palm and she sent me for X-rays, etc. I'll give them a call.

1. In progress. No longer smoke during the week at all (apart from last night on a works drink thing in London, so I'm not beating myself up over it).
Next step will be cutting down on the Saturday smokes so it's just when drinking. We'll see.
2. Hit top marks like a good boy in appraisal which means promotion should come in June/July reviews. :fingerscrossed:
3. Not yet.

I've been going to Up and Running. Book a consultation with Stephan and then move to Michael. They are great.

I had multiple rotator cuff issues and, I agree with Milly, UpandRunning fixed it in the end.

How's everyone getting on with theirs then?
I've hit a couple very recently

1. Not yet. Smoke in the evenings in the week again but not beating myself over this just yet. Will cut down again.
2a. Yup. Got promoted. Now a Senior Dickhead.
2b. Yup. Got a payrise, 10% so can't be sniffed at, but have gone back and argued for more. Might find out a bit more news on this tomorrow.
3. Yup. She said yes in Bali. Properly chuffed :)
