yes the little white one has been there long time, but another friend of mine said the exact same thing today regarding new camera on yas and she drives it a lot. but as i dont drive along that bit i cannot say

got 3 fines recently all around the exit off yas island to join the main abu dhabi -dubai road. what's the limit there? officially 100kmh but not sure anymore. thought i slowed down to that after getting the first fine, trying to be careful. is there any other new camera on this stretch of the road? i know abt the new camera on the right, just before the limit goes down to 60 but think there might be another one too.

As of today, I've noticed some new cameras on what looks like a toll gate on yas island. are those surveillance cameras? anyone noticed them? cheers

Not been out there recently, but generally if they're in a long-ish metal box they're traffic / surveillance, if they're roughly sphericial or cube-ish they're more likely average speed cameras.
However, technology moves on, and it'd be wise to treat them all as average speed cameras and keep to the limits.

They may also be traffic counting or incident detection cameras...chances are if they're traffic counting they'll be looking to enforce average speeds if they're not doing so already.
