Re: New iPod OS software
Ok, what would you recommned as a decent iPod alternative with at least 160GB capacity?
My 3+ year old iPod classic is full and starting to fall over, would happily switch to a non-Apple alternative, particularly if it meant being able to get away from the dreadful iTunes).

It can be a pain but it's not that bad is it?

I've downloaded Songbird as well and really need to start using it, only drawback being it doesn't (as far as I've noticed in a brief play with it) have a good podcast search interface, maybe (and hopefully am) wrong about that.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I've been looking around but capacity wise nothing else comes even close. And, while it does seem a little over top to need to have 160GB in yer pooch, I do like being able to have pretty much my whole music collection at my finger tips when travelling etc

that's not relatively large, that's ****ing huge! I've got +/- 4,500 tracks, which is enough to last +/- 13 days without a repeat! (will admit 90% I'll never listen to more than once!)

I upgraded lost nothing, but where are the 200 new features for the iPhone, found the iMessenger thing (very good), and a find friends thing, icons looks different etc but apart from that it seems much the same. Free apps in the app store reveal nothing new of note
