I can survive IKEA because we never go in the showroom bit and nowadays it's for lunchboxes or something else functional and cheap.

The bit of IKEA I can't survive and will never, ever, ever do is the cafeteria. It's great food, it's so unbelievably cheap it's beyond comprehension but unfortunately that combination means it's the most crowded place on earth. Hateful experience.

Had a very successful trip round the Ikea store here in Casa. Spent 4 Dirhams (30p) on two ice creams.

I remember studying the IKEA model at uni. They purposely subsidise the cost of food so that even when you leave frustrated and annoyed following your shopping experience, all you focus on while making your journey home is 'how good were those bloody meatballs...'

Doesn't surprise me at all. Keeps you in there a bit longer too.

I looked up the menu on Zomato. Looks cheap.

I never go to Ikea and that be the problem. Can't imagine going to a store at mealtimes and for DXBtoDOH meals are strictly set by the clock.

It's heaving, all the time.

The food is good and cheap but I wouldn't go there purely because of how busy it is / can be.
