A new entry at number 9
A new itunes type company has just set up in the middle east. Good idea I guess and at 30 AED a go for the likes of Gaga, Shakira and N.E.R.D. looks good value.
However the most alarming fact is that snuggled between Kanye West and Michael Jackson at number 9 in their charts is The Time Of Our Lives (The Official Song Of The 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. Now where did that come from? Is it a sinister plot like the Anti Cowell Christmas Number 1? Or are they so low in subscribers that 2 purchases has put it at this lofty position? But even so even 2 buyers? |
