Default New Brit looking for ensuite room in Dubai

Hi all!

Im moving to Dubai 20-01-13 and am looking for a nice place to live.

Ideally a ensuite room in a Villa/Apartment in a central location. Flexible on Budget.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most greatfull!

Gary

Pick a location first, 'Central' is Al Quoz which isn't somewhere you want to live.

Where are you working?

Oh!

Im going to be shooting around all over the place with work. I guess anywhere like WAFI, Mall of Emirates, Dubai Marina, Downtown would be good.

Wafi is 20miles from the Marina.

Do you have an office where you will be based mainly?

Look Downtown / Business Bay for an apt.

Jumeirah for a villa-share if you can find one.

Get on Dubizzle and stick in 4-6,000 a month and downtown and flat share and you'll find something at the top end of that range.

Our office is in Karama and my British boss has a nice apartment in Bur Dubai within walking distance. He previously lived in Arabian Ranches but hated the lack of community spirit. His words, not mine. There are some nice apartments opposite the Burjaman Centre. Mirdif is quite a long way out and overflown by noisy jets. More of a family place rather than for a single guy.

There's a decent little place in Al Quoz that was cheap as chips. Ghusia is the name but I've taken about 6 people to rent there now so your best bet is to owe me a beer and I'll take you down there.
