Re: Need a job
If you'd included IFAs then you'd have succeeded in alienating nearly everyone on here who might be in a position to assist you at some time. I've known some QSs who were right tossers, as well as all those you and I've listed with whom I'd entrust my kids' lives.

Re: Need a job
I don't. Well, I do. It's all on the website so it's easy to search through / filter.
Wait. I'll do this 'live';
Total applications across the three admin roles (administrator, secretary, coordinator) = 4,438
We'll take the Administrator as it has the most, 1,983
Remove men = 1,241
30-40 yrs old = 581 left
Add two keywords (relevant to the role / business - eg; recruitment, construction) = 184 left.
Then I'd skim through them to see who's got what and very quickly work out who's worth printing to call.
I printed 60-70.
Went through them in just under an hour.
Interviewed 12 on Monday.
3 back today for second interview.
Expect to offer one tomorrow.
If only all roles were as easy to fill.

Re: Need a job
One of the ones for second interview is from one of the girls in the office.
One is a walk in who saw the advert and has bigger bollocks than I can imagine (she's 4ft something and about 40kgs and just bowled in asking for me and wanted to know how she could have the job. Awesome attitude).

Re: Need a job
Just curious, why do you remove the men and only want people 30-40?

Re: Need a job
I got tired of hundreds of applications from folk who were clearly unqualified / unsuited to the role so tried to be clever
placed an ad in Gulf News giving clues to the company and location and invited hand delivered applications only
I got one - turned out he was related to one of our staff who'd tipped him off - he was useless

SCAMPY does appearance/looks, ethnicity come into it when you are selecting possible candidates?
