Wink My quote of the day comes from...

TUC chief Brendan Barber blamed bankers and previous Tory governments for the economic mess: "This recession is not bad luck or an inevitable swing of the pendulum. Its cause is irresponsible behaviour by banks and financial institutions taking advantage of the deregulation started by Mrs Thatcher and president Reagan, and continued to a greater or lesser extent ever since."

No, you are overlooking the expulsion of the Jews from England in 1290 thanks to Edward I.

Of course I'm joking but many years have passed since, most of us would say that there was quite ample opportunity to avert an asset bubble since Thatcher left office.

Well, I know someone not far away who would doubt the veracity of it since it's source is The Guardian.

I would say that the reason for all these economic crises is because of using the interset rates over loans (Usury)

if Usury stopped .....the whole world will become better..

some people will say what will the bank get in return for lending others money ...

a simple answer would be to join them in their business as partners.

You are looking for the Edict of expulsion (1290).

I'm a little confused with you previous statement though, how do you encourage lending without offering some reward for the risk taken by lenders?

When you lend money you are a partner in business fortunes, like it or not. Anyway many would prefer to own their business without vulture capitalists poised to push them out.

Your caustic use of the word usury belies your-as a person- wide and unaccounted assessments

are you trying to say that i appear as a religious man and therefore using that word (usury ) that implies that my opinion is driven from a pure religious believes and therefore it will not be that valuable to many people?

if yes ..then i am proud to say (usury) is bad because my religion says so and i don't care about what others think about me. However, there has been great increase in the number of voices who realised how bad this (usury) is without the need of my religous believes.
