Once the tallest structure in Europe, Parents have been playing the '£1 to the 1st person who sees the cathedral' game for years

Can posters please size their photos before posting? Those giant pictures mess up the display.

Thanks

Try using www.tinypic.com when posting and you can select the preferred size. Alertatively open the picture using one the the various programmes on your computer and resize.

If I can edit pictures, anyone can.

Sorry about this:

Salisbury Cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123m/404 ft).

The cathedral also has the largest cloister and the largest cathedral close in Britain (80 acres (320,000 m2)).

The cathedral contains the world's oldest working clock (from AD 1386) and has the best surviving of the four original copies of the Magna Carta (all four original copies are in England).

If I'd stayed at my school for 6th form instead of leaving, I'd probably have been Head Boy...one perk is being allowed to marry at the Cathedral.
