Many years ago I adopted an abandoned Main Coon. They are large cats and mine weas the size of a beagle. Folks would comment on how beautifull she was . She had bluish silver fur and the bottom 2.5 inches of her legs were evenly white, so it looked like she had white socks on. She was also very friendly , to everyone.

"Cousin brother" is used in India and Pakistan with the meaning of "male first cousin"

The practice of "cross-cousin marriage" is as common there as it is in the Gulf. Doing it for generations is not very smart.
Traditionally it has been done to keep resouirces in the family.
