What happened to the lads that washed your car while you went shopping at Mall of the Emirates or Ibn Battuta. I haven't seen them since Ramadan.

The cars pretty dirty and I have tried going to the local petrol stations where the they have manual car washing...but the queues are so long (tried one but gave up after an hour waiting in line).

..and, before someone says it... no, I can't wash my own car...as it is forbidden at the tower where I stay.

Anywhere else to have one's car washed?

mmm I use the place near me, might be a bit of trek, it is on the road leading to the Al Khail Road from Al Barsha - not the one at the Mall but the one near the Greens. 30 dhs for a wash and interior.

I can't DIY (or DIM?)..Emaar insist that no-one cleans their cars in the underground carparks, which are painted and washed every week...they don't want muck falling off cars when washed !

Nah ! The bonnie young lasses above have both said Mall of the Emirates is open again for car cleaning by the 'lads'...will go there tomorrow morning.
