Muscat visit

We are off to Muscat for a few days and will be staying at the Al Bustan. Will I need to take mossie sprays at this time of year? Any tips on the local area - where to go, what to see would be greatly appreciated :).

Al Bustan is lovely. But a good 15-30 minutes drive to anywhere interesting....

Thanks OS - we love it here. Have decided to chill for a few days anyway. Will visit the Mosque later in the week and Muttrah souk. The Royal yacht is very impressive :)

Get reception to check access times of mosque as it is now eid holidays.
Muttrah souq def worth a look.
