Multi Year Payment - USD or GBP

Afternoon bored. Struggling to make a decision on this, wondered what the general consensus is on the bored and any reasons why.

Option 1;
Payment of 1,345.83 GBP, every 4 months for the next 3 years (16,150.00 GBP)

Option 2;
Payment of 2,333.33 USD, every 4 months for the next 3 years (28,000.00 USD), which at today's rates is around 18,500.00 GBP.

Option 2 is obviously around 15% more expensive as of today, however I don't need to worry about any currency variation for the duration of the payment. Option 1 could work out a good bit cheaper or dearer than Option 2.

Now I know if anyone could predict the future of currencies, then they wouldn't likely be in the sandpit on this bored, but thought I'd throw it out there.

I'm leaning towards option 2, but would be interested to see what the rest of you think.

Match it to your income. Don't think about the rates (unless you are going to hedge it) as you won't predict them.

Betting on currencies. It makes a change from racehorses.
