For once this "bad news" story is about crazy driving back in the UK...mind you, reducing the M1 to one lane only during road works seems crazy too.

M1 and M25 is quite often down to one lane in the midnight hours - its a pain in the arse to find yourself driving on a motorway at 2am to be in a convoy driving at 40mph..
