I'm bigger, more like a large, double kebab. LOADS of ketchup.

Get your motor running, head out on the highway,
Looking for adventure in whatever comes our way.

Yeah, darling, gonna make it happen,
take the world in a lovely embrace.
Fire all of your guns at once and explode into space.

If you mean go from Sharjah to Musandam - it couldn't be easier. Just get on the 311 and keep going until you get to RAK and then keep following the coast...

Though if you want to go from Khasab to Dibba therein lies the problem. As far as I know you can't. You used to be able to go back to RAK then through Wadi Bih but I think that crossing point is now closed (anyone know any recent update on this crossing?)

And I think many many years ago you could go through a mountain trail from the hills above Khasab but I think that is also long closed.

I saw a guy knocked off his bike last week outside the Marina mall. Sideswiped by one of our sub-con friends. Pitza all over the place. I've been riding since school days, various bikes, but would I ride here? No way Pedro. Just recall the driving and dangers on SZH. Given you probably chose a car built like a tank, why take the risk? A riding buddy discovered that most accidents occurr within two miles of home. So he moved.

If you want to get a licence here, it's easy. If you want to learn to ride; take your lessons in the UK. I ride every day, all year round and have for 9 years in Dubai. If you are smart, it's not a problem and there is no better feeling!!

The husband of one of our former members was killed in an accident on his bike in May (I think) and the police are generally more strict on stuff these days (speeding penalties etc).

Do be careful, Scamp - or anyone else.........

I think you are balmy to even consider getting on a motorbike in the ME unless you have a new job as a delivery man! Don't do it.
