excuse me, I had my own avitar up when we did 'use you own face as an avitar' week whenever it was......and I was flooded with pm's from women asking for my number, the stress of it all was too much...
I do agree though that the avitar does suggest to the unsuspecting viewer that the person is attractive, a munter, sporty, funny etc or a total nut job like The Dean who changes his hourly depending on who's big in the news

I don't use my real face cos I'm the most unphotgenic person in the world - when having pics taken with my sisters (5 of them) they make me stand on the end so they can cut me out of the picture 
My dogs bottom is more photogenic - hence the picture.

I'm not doing one of those "Poll" jobbies - this needs debate...........
What makes an avatar sexy?
Skimpy clothing? (Mrs Liontart, Cleri, Sassy). Beautiful come-to-bed eyes? (Alexa, Bambi). Alluring and mysterious? (Meow, MM). A real picture, whether of yourself or not? (MH, Eva, Annacarna, Gilly-beans). Something apparently unconnected with sex, but actually very arousing? (Squirty Cream's shoes, Blue Cat's rotating pussy, Border Tart’s… er… tart). An animal with its legs wide apart? (Nic1).
Does it also depend on other, non-avatar-related-things? (Intelligent posts, witty remarks). Or is an avatar alone sufficient?
I think we need to sort this out, once and for all..........

My point was - wouldn't it be dull if I simply wrote "I think so-and-so has the sexiest avatar - what do you think?".
