I'm seriously thinking of becoming a supplier to these UK smugglers. Was talking to someone I know, he sells an average of 1.5 million cigarettes, a staggering 6 to 7 thousand 1/2 liter cans of bear, food and god know what else per week to UK nationals coming over on day trips. Even cars, even with the steering wheel (for us EU nationals) on the wrong side are selling like cup cakes here. What the f**k is wrong on that island of yours?

I know, the UAE government visited Holland last year to see how the tax system here works. 11 to 16% (an unofficial rumor on every thing) increase at once? That's going to cause some angry reactions within the UAE if it ever passes the design tables. I guess those thief's calling themselves landlords will just simply add it to the rent prices.

Not sure if it counts (as it comes in a bottle) but I heard a pint of magners was 42dhs in Aussie Legends and 47dhs in The Music Room!
I also went to Waxy's a couple of weeks ago for the brunch and was disappointed to learn that if I wanted a pint of Guinness it would cost me 2 (of my 5) drinks vouchers!!

It's quite a large place. Lots of live bands. Mostly an older crowd the 2 times I've been. It's ok but does seem to attract a few weirdos.
