Been an interesting conversation, this one.

FWIW - during the referendum, I "polled" all of my Scottish friends (mostly from Aberdeen) and they were almost unanimously in favour of sticking with the Union. In these same discussion about 20% of my English friends did not see what the fuss was about (could not understand the issues) and the other 80% said that if the Scots really wanted independence they should have it.

Now, this is in no way a true reflection of people but I would say it represented the views of about 60 English and Scots who live in Dubai.

Just saying......
