The Wiggles are playing on Yas Island mid-May.
Got my tickets already (although the pesky kids want to come too.....) |
Re: More gigs
Ok considering I am an adult and have never watched the wiggles, I am wrong in thinking they are a bunch of slightly aging men who look a bit simple?

Mmmmmm......4 (gay?) Aussies that look a bit simple. What more could you want from a musical stage show??
What about other people dressed up as a dinosaur, octopus and a pirate...... Perfection. |
Re: More gigs
Here's a cutting edge artiste for you
Richard Clayderman at the Al Bustan Rotana on 23rd April. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=138838222855940  |
Re: More gigs
The tickets for concerts are sky rocketing though, I mean 300 Dhs for the cheap seats these days?! It used to be around the 150 Dhs mark. But then the promoters have to charge these crazy prices just to get anywhere near to breaking even.
Maroon 5 are playing the Trade Centre tomorrow. Have to say one fo the best gigs I ever went to here was Coldplay at Emirates Palace, in the middle of a lightning storm, certainly one heck of a show. |

So a much more current and critically acclaimed band is in town soon:
The Hurts Irish Village Thursday, May 19, 2011 http://www.livinthemusicdubai.com/ (I'm expecting a lot of "Who are they? Never heard of them...." responses) |
