Money ????????
I have just decided to raid my piggy bank and get the coins changed up!
Only problem is that i dont know what they are worth...Hence loads of them building up in my piggy bank! I have asked my friends but they are not sure either
Can anyone tell me what the following coins are and how many make up a dirham??
1. A silver 7 sided coin with a bent zero inside.
2. A small silver coin with a backward 7 and a bent zero.
3. A big silver coin with a bent zero inside.
4. A small gold coin with a 1. inside.
5. A tiny gold coin with a bent zero inside.
Thankyou.
Also can i just walk into a bank here and ask them to change it all or will they get huffy?

3. Not sure. The bendy zero means five. Don't remember seeing any big silver coins other than 1 dirham.

One of the few good things about Qakar is that they only do 50 dirham coins (the equivalent of fils). All Riyals are in note form, which means you don't end up with a load of shrapnel in your pockets.
