So most of us missed the chance to meet Mission last evening as she couldn't make it, so I propose another meet up thats definitely compatible with her schedule :)

It will be on a Monday or a Saturday (to avoid bouncing).

It will be at least 1 hour away from Jumeriah 1 (I'm thinking Al Ain?)

We need to try and find somewhere with a happy hour that runs from 12am-3am.

Easy Innit??

We need Mission to give us the list of requirements for things like; drinks available, dance floor size, temperature, parking facilities etc.

She will require the folllowing;

10 different venues scheduled and pre-booked at least 6 months in advance

5 alternatives again pre-booked

Dress code as specific as possible, but with 10 alternatives

Full drinks list in advance, again with alternatives

Route maps with gps co-ordinates, and lattitude and longitude!

full seating plan, not to be altered under any circumstances and pre-approved

etc etc etc

once again i will set the record straight!! I have never said i will come and then not turned up without saying i will not be there (unlike some others *cough* DUBS & IKN*cough*)....i have only ever been to 1 pre-organised meet up in which if i remember correctly both MILLY and SCAMPY were a no show....and in that meet up i met IBK and BRAIN for the first time and we three had a blast!
Since then i have met IBK a few times, again with MILLY and SCAMPY being a no show:p
So you all need to stick that in your pipes and smoke it:thumbup:

Unfortunately will probably never happen as I go to football on saturdays and am normally traveling on Mondays. Add to that I’m never out after 10pm :(.

Well, if anyone's interested (totally out of 'left field') - I'll be in Dubai for the very first time ever :sneaky: from 27 Oct to 3 Nov.

The Shed claims he knows me :blink: so I'll be trying to hook up with him, but I'd like to meet more of you if I can........

how about a Tuesday? Although i usually bounce on Tuesdays, i've swapped it with doing my running in the gym, which means i can get to the venue before 8pm.

Tuesdays work, I normally suggest Wednesdays because if people choose to have a few beers, it's only Thursday to get through, but really, it doesn't matter.:thumbup:

So I was trying to be polite, trying to get Stats a chance to meet the Dean and the rest of the gang, and trying my best to accommodate Mission as I know there are many on here who would be interested to meet her. I guess this last response confirms that I should give up on all three levels and just arrange a quiet beer for me Stats, The Dean and Scamp.

My apologies SHED, i figured you were gearing up to have another meet up like the one you guys had a week ago, but trying to accommodate me as well...didn't realise you were actually trying to arrange a get together with STAT, DEAN & SCAMP.

I absolutely WAS trying to arrange a group wide meet up but it quickly became too confusing/hard to please everyone.

Why don't you arrange it? That way it will perfectly fit what you need in terms of location, schedule etc and we can all come to meet you? :) I am sure Stats will go if me, Scampi, and some of the others are there.
