When I wrote *peers* in that way it was meant to imply that I was peering at your initial post to try & decide if you were serious or sarcastic. It's how things are done on some boards, or at least used to be.

Not in the least...don't know what *peers* means...but I have you definitely on my radar and list of contacts when I leave late next year for Oz for financial advice (paid of course !). I've been following what you have been saying on BE for 3 years...you definitely manifest business acumen and are perspicacious !
One of those words that looks like it doesn't really exist, but everyone knows what it means........

It really appeals to my s.o.h that currently, on the Forum Index page, directly above this thread entitled "Mid- Life Crises ", there is a baked bean starting a new life in the Far East....

Yeah, I've used a few words oft used from my old school days that have been lost translation with today's young BEs...the last two of note were "there's nowt wrong with a wee bit of 'persiflage' and 'badinage' amongst BE friends" !
