Mid-Life Crisis ?

Well, hHave any of you had what could be described as a midlife crisis?

Did you do anything outrageous and totally out of character and if so what did you do?

im too young for a 'mid life crisis' as such, but its in the post, and it involves bikes.

Aged 36 I left my wife of 12 yrs, resigned my job as an Associate Director in Northampton and flew to Kenya to live...:D

Yep, gave up my high-paying professional job and opened up a restaurant/bar...lost money but had the best of times...gave it up and then fell naturally back into my former professional job again (if though I hadn't been away). Je ne regrette rien ! :)

I think average age of dying for males in England is around 74...so almost half way there :(

..but most people think of 40-ish.
