They said they reckoned a "third party" was involved.

27 April 2012 Williams may have been able to get in the bag himself, the inquest hears. Despite experts failing to complete the bizarre task more than 100 times, a specialist said it could not rule out that someone with training could achieve it.
But a second expert, Peter Faulding, said he tried and failed to get into the bag 300 times. “My conclusion is he was placed in the bag unconscious or was dead when he was put in the bag. I cannot say it is impossible but I think even Houdini would struggle with this one.”

Lots of mysterious things..supposedly, most 'agents' who have died under suspicious circumstances get tainted with sexual deviancy. But I guess if you are a morally flexible person to begin with...it wouldn't be much of a surprise really.
Other things like his phone being set back to 'factory settings' make the whole thing very very suspect.

I read somewhere that MI6 are claiming that they didn't do their own external investigation, yeah right. One of your staff ends up in a bag in a bath and they don't investigate? His poor family must be livid with these blatant lies

And they also didn't secure his shared locker for some days. Rumour has it he did some 'unauthorized searches' prior to his death. Other operatives have also been found dead in the past in positions looking like an s&m session gone wrong..
