Default Meydan Horse Racing

Has anyone been to a Meydan horse racing event other than the Dubai World Cup? I believe General admission is free and Premium Seating costs Dhs50, which seems reasonable. Racing starts at 3pm this Saturday. With the weather so pleasant, might it be worth a family afternoon out? Any thoughts?

Horrible things. You'd have to be mental to go.

I hope you went. I go regularly.

Premium for 50dibs is brilliant. Best view (on the finishing post), beer served to you in your seat, never busy at all, easy to get in and away from, can access racing post app and bet.

Also done the tiered restaurant. Good, just about value for money but I'll always prefer to be closer to the action.
